Hands-On With GameWill’s Steering Wheel for the Nintendo Switch

BEHOLD THE GAMEWILL STEERING WHEEL FOR NINTENDO SWITCH.

To accompany my purchase of Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, I had to obtain a set of steering wheels for my Joy-Con controllers. And I did just that and found a perfect set on Amazon.com. GameWill’s Steering Wheel For Nintendo Switch is a set of two steering wheel shells for the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons.

SWITCH STEERING WHEEL (RIGHT) COMPARED TO WII WHEEL (LEFT) ADD-ON.

This controller shell is for those who want to play Nintendo Switch racing games, or Mario Kart 8: Deluxe specifically, in a fashion that mimics using the Joy-Con controllers as a steering wheel via motion controls.

FRONT OF BOX.

The controllers are matte black with a glossy finish underneath where the Joy-Con is seated and inside the plus and minus markers.

BACKSIDE OF BOX.

Both myself and my spouse agree that the steering wheel controller shell is comfortable to hold for small to average/large hands.

SL/SR BUTTONS.

There are two large buttons that activate the SL and SR when pressed allowing the use of the SL/SR buttons with ease and comfort.

I feel very comfortable with my purchase of these steering wheel shells. The quality is great, the controllers feel sturdy, the Joy-Cons stay inside even during the most heated race, and the price is just right for a set of two. My spouse really enjoys playing the game with motion controls so these really worked for her.

At the time of my purchase, GameWill’s Steering Wheel for Nintendo Switch can be purchased for $12.99 (U.S. dollars).

I purchased this product for my own benefit; this is a non-sponsored article. This controller shell simply rocks and meets my needs. And I hope you enjoy them, too.

Why BoxBoy! Is A Bucket List Game (Part 4)

BOXBOY! is a certified Bucket List game that everyone should play before he or she “kicks the bucket”.

ALL ABOUT BOXBOY!:

For those who derive satisfaction from collecting items, on the other hand, this game includes collectibles in every level.

BOXBOY! IS FUN:

Each stage has a crown, or more, that can be optionally collected. Collecting these crowns are satisfying, but the challenge comes from a “box limit” dictated by each stage.

Crowns must be collected before you have created an allotted number of boxes otherwise the crown cannot be acquired.

You bet you will be playing these stages over and over again until you have all of the crowns. Luckily, as said above, replaying each stage is made so easy. It is like Nintendo thought of everything in this little package!

BOXBOY! IS CHALLENGING FUN:

Box Boy is a Bucket List worthy game I recommend you check out. There is no other game quite like it, and no other protagonist quite like Box Boy. Get boxing, today!

The following information comes from Backlog and Bucket List Gaming ISSUE 2:

ALL ABOUT BOXBOY!:

the box mechanics is when you will really start using your noggin. How am I suppose to make it over this wall? Place one box on the ground, hop on it, and scale the wall, that’s how.

EVEN MORE FUN WITH BOXBOY!:

How about that hole over yonder? Stop trying to jump over it, daredevil, and make a platform instead. The game invites players to use their brains and creativity to solve each stage, and it is quite forgiving of failure.

Each stage can be restarted from the beginning, or the last checkpoint, which is a good thing when the game becomes more challenging.

BOXBOY! IS CHALLENGING FUN:

As you progress, threats are added in the form of instant death lasers, instant death enemies, and instant death pits. And spikes.

Every game needs instant death spikes. But these deterrents only make completing stages that more satisfying.  . . .

BOXBOY! RAMPS UP:

At first, I thought the beginning stages were a little too easy, but then I realized the first few stages were essentially tutorial stages. I would soon find out I would be wishing for simpler times when the puzzles eventually became brain-twisting masterpieces by the end of the game.

MORE FUN WITH BOXBOY!:

But what exactly is Box Boy, the character and the game? Great question! Box Boy is a square box that can create boxes that remain attached or released.

The amount of boxes he can create is dictated by each stage. A player can use the boxes as platforms, steps, or as hooks to latch on to a higher ledge among a handful of other ways that are ingenious.

BOXBOY! IS CHALLENGING FUN:

This is what makes this game so much fun . . .

Why Tomb Raider (2013) Is A Bucket List Game (Part 2)

TOMB RAIDER (2013) is a certified Bucket List game that everyone should play before he or she “kicks the bucket”.

Read Part 1 of “Why Tomb Raider (2013) Is A Bucket List Game” by clicking here.

The following information comes from Issue 1 of Backlog and Bucket List Gaming:

TOMB RAIDER IS APPROACHABLE:

I also would like to applaud Tomb Raider for its approachability. This game allows the player to play the game how he or she wants to.

As a result of this player freedom, I played most of the game as a stealth game, making moves without letting enemies see me until the last moment.

TOMB RAIDER ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY HOW YOU WANT:

You want to slink in the shadows and kill enemies from a distance? Play it as a stealth game. You want to run and gun and go attack head on? Play it as an action game. You want to do a little of both? That option is yours.

WHY TOMB RAIDER IS A BUCKET LIST GAME:

As far as the story is concerned, although the characters are not too memorable, Lara’s origin story is a convincing tale that made me care about the heroine’s plight

I felt responsible for getting her off of the wretched island she was marooned on and back to safety in one piece. And what a sweet, fun ride it was doing so.
Tomb Raider 2013 is a game every gamer must play before they kick the bucket.

Why Tomb Raider (2013) Is A Bucket List Game (Part 1)

TOMB RAIDER (2013) is a certified Bucket List game that everyone should play before he or she “kicks the bucket”.

The following information comes from Issue 1 of Backlog and Bucket List Gaming:

TOMB RAIDER THOUGHTS:

The Tomb Raider reboot from 2013 is the exact definition of fun. It is one of the few games I actively sought out to collect one hundred percent of the items in the game. I mean, how can you not want to do so?

Every area of the world is littered with collectibles, weapon upgrades, hidden tombs, and nooks and crannies to explore.

TOMB RAIDER IS SIMPLY FUN TO PLAY:

On top of all the secrets and collectibles, the game is just fun to play. Sure, one could use the shotgun and pistol and other modern day weapons to hunt down wild deer and rabbits, but Lara Croft’s go-to damage dealer (at least for me) was her trusty bow and arrow.

WHY TOMB RAIDER IS A BUCKET LIST GAME:

There is something inherently satisfying lining up the bow’s cross-hairs on an unsuspecting enemy or wild boar that is just so darned enjoyable every single time . . .
